ARIS · CONDITIONS OF USE

Terms of Service

LAST UPDATED 20 SEPTEMBER 2026

ARIS is a personal study planner written by Rafael Amador. It runs on his own computer and has a single user. These terms exist because Google requires them before an application may request calendar access outside of testing, not because ARIS is sold, licensed or distributed to anyone.

ARIS is not hosted, not offered for sign-up and not available to the public. There are no accounts, no subscriptions and no payments. Nothing here should be read as an offer to provide software or a service to anyone.

ARIS reads Google Calendar events with read-only permission so it can display a timetable. It cannot create, modify or delete calendar events. How that data is handled is set out in full in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Authorisation may be withdrawn at any time through your Google account permissions. Doing so stops ARIS reading anything further.

ARIS is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It is a personal tool, it is changed often, and it may contain mistakes. It is not a system of record. Deadlines, exam times and schedules shown in it should be checked against the authoritative source, which is the course syllabus or the university.

To the extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any loss arising from use of this software, including a missed deadline, a missed examination, or data that turns out to be stale or wrong.

These terms may change as the software does. The date at the top records when they last did.
